Guiding women through real-life nutrition and fat-loss strategies that deliver lasting results.
My Health & Fitness Journey
Health has always mattered to me — but my understanding of it has evolved over time.
In my late teens and early twenties, the gym was my priority. I trained at least five times per week and structured my life around it. I gave up alcohol at 18 because I wasn’t seeing the progress I wanted, and I have remained alcohol-free since.
In my early twenties, I experienced my first significant shift in body composition following hormonal medication. My weight increased quickly despite my routines remaining largely the same. It was the first time I truly understood how powerful hormones can be — and how little most women are taught about their impact.
Even though my habits hadn’t dramatically changed, my body was responding differently — in part because I had moved into a more sedentary role. While I was still active around work, I wasn’t moving in the same way I had in previous roles, and that shift was frustrating.
From Confusion to Confidence
What frustrated me most was the noise — conflicting advice, extreme approaches, and constant contradictions. I didn’t want more conflicting advice. I wanted to understand how the body truly works, and figure out how I could achieve optimum health and a body I was truly confident in.
So I returned to education and completed a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Exercise Sciences at the University of Central Lancashire. I studied while working in leadership roles and later balanced deadlines with motherhood. It required commitment and sacrifice, but it taught me valuable lessons about time management, organisation, and prioritising health — lessons I now pass on to my clients to show that time should never be a barrier to looking and feeling your best.
Professional Experience & Approach
Before becoming a nutritionist, I spent over a decade as a team leader, coaching and developing people. That experience shapes how I work today. Fat loss isn’t just about food — it’s about behaviour change, accountability, communication, and mindset.
I do not support extreme restriction.
I do not cut out entire food groups or macronutrients.
I do not promote quick fixes.
I specialise in sustainable fat loss and long-term maintenance.
Who I Work With
Over time, I noticed a clear pattern in the women who came to me. Most were over 35. Many had tried slimming clubs, challenges, and countless diets. Some were navigating peri-menopause or menopause. Others were facing pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, or worrying health markers. Many were at a turning point — ready to do something different, but unsure who to trust.
That is where I do my best work.
My approach is nurturing, structured, and evidence-led. I take time to understand my clients’ routines, family life, and daily pressures because sustainable change has to work in real life. Often, the progress made doesn’t just benefit the individual — it positively impacts the whole household.
